POWER OF ATTORNEY

- A general POA authorizes another person to act in general, legal, financial and business matters on your behalf.

You can choose to give any or all of the following powers:

• To buy, lease and manage real estate property in UAE. 

• To represent you before all government departments, du, Etisalat, Water and Electricity Authority in Dubai and Sharjah, etc. 

• To set up companies, sole establishments and businesses. 

• To buy shares in companies on your behalf. 

• To sign contracts on your behalf. 

• To buy vehicles on your behalf. 

• To represent you before banks across UAE (where acceptable to the relevant bank) To represent you in legal matters and appoint lawyers on your behalf.

- A property power of attorney authorizes another person to buy, manage and/or sell real estate property on your behalf in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman.

Property POA authorizes another person:

• To buy real estate property on your behalf in UAE. 

• To manage and lease real estate property and collect rent on your behalf. 

• To sell real estate property on your behalf.

- A property dispute POA authorizes another person to represent you before the UAE courts, real estate regulatory authorities and rental dispute centers.

Property Dispute POA authorizes another person:

• To represent you before government departments in UAE, Land Department and the UAE courts. 

• To appoint lawyers on your behalf. 

• To sign any case documents on your behalf.

- A vehicle power of attorney authorizes another person to sell cars, motorbikes, boats etc. on your behalf. This is valid in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman.

A vehicle POA authorizes another person:

• To sell and transfer vehicle on your behalf. 

• To receive the sale proceeds on your behalf. 

• To renew the insurance and registration of the vehicle. 

• To represent you before all government departments including the Dubai Road and Transport Authority and Transport Authorities in other Emirates. 

• To pay traffic fines and release the vehicle from impoundment, if applicable. 

• To sign transfer documents and effect the transfer of ownership.

- A marriage power of attorney by guardian authorizes another person to sign marriage papers of a daughter in the courts of UAE. It is deemed valid in the following emirates: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman.

Marriage POA authorizes another person:  

• To represent you before the UAE courts. 

• To give consent on your behalf for marriage of your daughter. 

• To sign documents to complete the marriage formalities.

- A court case POA authorizes another person to represent you before the courts within UAE and appoint lawyers on your behalf. This document is considered valid in the following emirates of the United Arab Emirates: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman.

Court Case POA authorizes another person:  

• To represent you before the UAE courts. 

• To appoint lawyers on your behalf. 

• To sign any case documents on your behalf. 

• To represent you before all government departments.

- A power of attorney for police clearance authorizes another person to represent you before the police within the UAE and obtain a police clearance certificate. Valid in the following emirates of the UAE: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman.

• Police Clearance POA authorizes another person:  

• To apply for and collect the police clearance certificate. 

• To represent you before the police and relevant government departments. 

• To sign any case documents on your behalf.

- A power of attorney for residency and foreign affairs authorizes another person to represent you before the immigration department. Valid for residents and foreigners with personal or business affairs in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman.

Residency and Foreigners Affairs POA authorizes another person:  

• To represent you before the immigration department. 

• To sign any case documents on your behalf. 

• To represent you before any other government departments.

- A POA for inheritance authorizes another person to represent a legal heir before the courts in connection with the inheritance proceedings. This applies to inheritances in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman.

Inheritance POA authorizes another person:  

• To represent a legal heir before the courts and other government departments within the Emirates. 

• To appoint lawyers. 

• To sign any case related documents. 

• To have the inheritance certificate issued and collected.

- POA for child travel is essentially a consent and power of attorney given by a parent guardian consenting to a minor child (below 21 years of age) travelling with another person.

• POA for child travel covers the following:  

• Consent by the parent guardian to the child travelling with another person. 

• Authorises another person to accompany the minor child. 

• Travel from one country to the other. 

• Power to represent the parent before the immigration and other government authorities.
